Welcome to Women's Integrative Pelvic Rehabilitation
Treating the Whole Woman
We're here for you
Women's Integrative Pelvic Rehabilitation takes a holistic approach to your needs. We work to understand not just your chief complaint, but also your goals and lifestyle. Dr. Manfield, D.O. is an osteopathic physiatrist (pronounced fizz i' a trist) who completed her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation followed by a fellowship in Women's Health/Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. She blends Eastern with Western medicine when caring for the mind, body and spirit of her patients. She is sensitive to the role physical and emotional trauma can play in the manifestation of pain and physical dysfunction. She works with her patients to develop an interdisciplinary and integrative approach to their care, where the patient is the most important player in their own health. Dr. Manfield has been helping women from Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut since 2013. She sees patients in her office which is located inside Studio Helix in Northampton.

How do I know if I need Pelvic Floor Therapy?
Do you suffer from...
urinary incontinence with coughing, sneezing laughing or exercise?
urgency, frequency, feeling like you cannot fully empty your bladder, waking up more than twice a night to urinate (not during pregnancy), urinate more than 8 times a day?
pain with intercourse with initial penetration, with orgasm or with deep pain during sex?
feeling of incomplete emptying while voiding, diagnosed with a prolapse?
Most patients would benefit from a pelvic floor evaluation to assess their core including pelvic floor and look at their biomechanics. When the pelvic floor or core is weak, forces move and translate differently and suboptimally throughout the body predisposing you to injury in other parts of your body as well as the pelvic floor.
Keeping our community safe
At this time, Studio Helix requires all patients wear a mask.
We offer both in person and virtual sessions. All in-person patients are required to confirm lack of symptoms/contact with a positive case prior to in-person visits.
There is a bathroom conveniently located outside the waiting area and down the hall. The patient exam room is cleaned and sterilized after each patient. We also have an air filter in the room.
You will be sent a form 24 hours before your appointment which you will need to sign in regards to your symptoms. If you are experiencing symptoms such as sore throat, fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell and taste we ask that you reschedule your appointment. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, have come into contact with someone who has or travelled to a high risk state, we ask that you wait 14 days or receive a negative test before an in person appointment. Virtual visit/Telehealth is an option for you.
